Since I typically only use one kick and one or two hats, they do not have a bus. Sometimes I will add Maximus or Ozone and use a quick preset just to get a good idea of how well the mix is, but usually the master stays off. The Master has absolutely nothing in it because, well, it's the Master of the mix project. Every channel (besides the Master) has Parametric EQ 2 in it set to disabled (no need to eat resources having it on if something might not need it).
